Our Why
The Tina Conteh Foundation was founded in memory of our mother, Tina Conteh, who passed away on October 31, 2015. We saw first-hand the challenges she faced in maneuvering the often-confusing federal and state assistance programs as well as the heartache when vital benefits she relied upon for survival were often reduced or cut. We formed this nonprofit to become the support for our seniors when they have no one. We are their voice when they cannot speak.
